At Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Sunday, January 1, 2017, John “Wayne” Mitchell of Glencoe passed away in his 73rd year. Survived by his loving partner Nancy Lovell, his children Brad (Paula) Mitchell, Tina Litzinger, Kathy (Doug) White, their mother Thyra Knudsen and granddaughter Jesse, the Lovell family, Kurt (Cheri), Scott (Shannon) and Ryleigh, Cohen, Nova, Chevelle, Royal and Kian, his brother Darryl (Christine) Mitchell. Special uncle to Patti, Barb, Greg and Heather. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Wayne was predeceased by parents John D. and Janet (McKellar) Mitchell and brother Robert and his wife Sandra. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street Glencoe on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. where the Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 6 at 1:30 p.m. (visitation one hour prior to service). Interment to follow at Kilmartin Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the London Middlesex VON or charity of your choice.
