At Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on Sunday, March 2, 2014, Vera Martha (Vansevenant) Douglas formerly of Sarnia and Alvinston in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Mac Douglas in 1981. Dear mother of Ken (Mary Ethel) Douglas, Ameila Simms and Bonnie (Don) Gallaway. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Predeceased by son John (1971), son-in-law Larry Simms (2005), 2 brothers Joe (Mary) and Vic (Rose) and her parents Jerome and Minnie Vansevenant. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Glencoe on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Alvinston Cemetery.
