With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Steve “Starsky” Mitchell at his home in Glencoe on Monday, September 23, 2019, in his 65th year. Son of the late Frank and Edith Mitchell. Dear brother of Gord Mitchell (Joanne) and Mary Anne Forrest. Beloved uncle of Alynn Forrest-Fabian, Caralee Mitchell (Will), Marissa Norris (Paul), Kyle Mitchell (Erika), Cody Mitchell (Lindsay) and Mikelle Forrest and great-uncle of 10. Fondly remembered by his best friends, his cousins Pat and Donna Whelihan. Also survived by many relatives and friends. Visitation will be at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Garnier Church, 244 Stella Street, Glencoe on Saturday, September 28th at 10 a.m. Rev. Thomas Blondin officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society, Four Counties Health Services Foundation or Alzheimer Society.
