At Oneida Long Term Care on Saturday, August 19, 2017, Shirley Kivell formerly of Glencoe passed away in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband Lorne in 2004. Dear mother of Charlene Kivell, Larry Kivell (Daniella), John Kivell (Cathy). Loved by her grandchildren Julie (Steve), Sara (Jason), Amy (Jeremy), Andrew (Jessica) and Preston (Janet) and her great grandchildren Coen, Sylvie, Spencer and Harris. Also survived by her brother Jim (June) Brooker and sister-in-law Joyce Brooker. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Gwen Kivell, 2 sisters Marie Connor, Anna Ross and brother Bob Brooker. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 23 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Kilmartin Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Burns Presbyterian Church.
