At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Friday, August 21, 2015, Richard John Walsh of Alvinston passed away in his 75th year. Predeceased by his wife Suzanne (2005) and son John (1995). Dear father of Laura Anderson of Chatham, Kevin Walsh of London, Sean Walsh of Strathroy, Mark Walsh of Sarnia and Kelly Pavey of Strathroy. Grandfather of 11 and 4 great grandchildren. Richard was part of the Royal Canadian Regiment Victoria, Retired employee of Canadian Pacific Railway and Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Alvinston. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 3232 River Street, Alvinston on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, August 24, at 1:00p.m. Rev. Jim officiating. Interment to follow at the Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Alvinston or Charity of your choice.
