On Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Watford Quality Care Centre, James “Ray” McKellar of R.R. 2 Glencoe passed away in his 85th year. Born October 2, 1928 in Ekfrid Township, son of the late Dan and Hazel (Eddie) McKellar. Survived by his wife Margaret (Dewar) and daughter Bonnie Jean. Predeceased by brothers Murray, Bill, Donald and Glen. Survived by sisters-in-law, Mary McKellar, Pauline McKellar, Shirley McKellar and Mary Campbell. Beloved uncle of Barb Northrup, Dave McKellar, Nancy McKellar, Richard, Robbie and Donny McKellar Mike Wallace, Heather and Carl McVicar, Sandy and Rob Campbell. Numerous great nieces and nephews also survive. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at the Van Heck Funeral Home on Saturday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Charlotte Brown officiating. (Visitation from 1-2 p.m.) Memorial donations may be made to the Four Counties Health Services Foundation or Glencoe Agricultural Society.
