At Babcock Community Care Centre, Wardsville on Thursday, August 10, 2017, Olga Verkin (nee Marko) formerly of Glencoe passed away at the age 83. Predeceased by her husband John Verkin (2008). Dear mother of Mary Ann (Kevin) Bennett of Mt. Brydges, Jean Mortis of London, Mike Verkin of Strathroy, George (Nancy) Verkin of Glencoe and Tom Verkin of Port Carling. Loved by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister of Nancy Hay and the late Linda Ward. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Garnier Church, 244 Stella Ave, Glencoe, Rev. D. Matthew Bedard presiding. Interment to follow at St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Alvinston. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
