Peacefully at her home in Melbourne, on Saturday, May 6, 2017, Marjorie Davenport (nee Alexander) passed away in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her husband Roger (2015). Dear mother of Alexander (Debbie) Davenport, Cyndie (Peter) Chelmak, Bob (Simone) Davenport and Michelle Gosnell (Bill Russell) and grandmother of Kellie Davenport, Natasha (Greg) Benoit, Nicholas (Kaleigh) Chelmak, Janelle (Bob) Crocker, Shannon (Rick) Standish, Brady Davenport (Erica), Brett Gosnell (Allie), Taylor Gosnell (Stefan) and Madison Gosnell (Chris). Loved by her great-grandchildren Charlie, Liam, Myelle and Georgia. Dear sister-in-law of Larry Davenport and Marilyn Davenport. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at 11 a.m. Rev. Richard Golden officiating. Interment to follow at the Longwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Melbourne United Church.
