Suddenly as a result of an accident on Monday, May 21, 2018, Linda Simpson (nee Munn), of Glencoe went home to be with Jesus in her 66th year. Cherished wife of J. Stuart Simpson of almost 48 years. Adoring mother and friend to Terry Simpson (Melissa 2008) and Kelly Simpson- Felkar (Ryan 2017). Proud and devoted Nana to Jackson, Tucker and Beau. Predeceased by grandson Denver (2000). Amazing sister to Carolyn Martin (late Wayne), Gerry and Debbie Munn, and Jack Munn (Terri). Predeceased by her mom Geraldine Munn (2000), brother Jim (2002) and sister-in-law Marilyn (2010) Linda will be sadly missed by her “Mom & Dad” Ruth and Russel Simpson and families. Forever cherished by nieces, nephews and many adoring friends. Linda worked at Babcock Community Care Centre for over 39 years, volunteered for the Canadian Cancer Society for 41 years, 4H Horse club leader, member of the Southwest Middlesex Women Who Care. She was an Elder of Session of Glencoe Presbyterian Church where she was a Willing Worker and past Sunday school teacher. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes street, Glencoe on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 25 at 11 a.m. at Glencoe Presbyterian Church, Rev. Deb Dolbear -VanBilsen officiating. Interment to follow at the Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Sunshine Foundation, Easter Seals Ontario or 4H Ontario.
