It is with great sadness that we share the recent passing of Johnathan Howard Smith on Sunday, August 11, 2013 in his 32nd year. John grew up in Bothwell before moving to Hamilton where he has lived for the past several years. John was a loving father of four beautiful children, with whom he gave his entire heart. John lived his life to the fullest and considered his many friends to be an extension of his family. John lives on in the hearts of his daughters Cheyenne, Larissa, Mersady and son Johnathan; his parents Dorothy and Lloyd, brothers Peter and Matthew as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes St., Glencoe on Friday, August 16 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. D. Matthew Bedard officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. (Noon – 1 p.m.) Private family interment of ashes at St. Helen’s Cemetery, Wallacetown. Memorial donations may be made to a Trust Fund for his Children. Cheques payable to “Matthew Smith in Trust”
