Peacefully at Vision Nursing Home, Sarnia, on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, John Archibald (Archie) McLachlin passed away at the age of 75 years. Survived by his brother Donald McLachlin (Linda) and their family, Chris, Scott (Michelle), and his sister, Marie McLean (Alex) and their family, Douglas McLean (Karen), Ann Martin (Stan), Sharon Fromow (Michael), Joy McLean, and Sandra Boyachek (John). Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Neilena McLachlin. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Visitation Centre, 3232 River street, Alvinston on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at the Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Vision Nursing Home.
