Peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Thursday, March 23, 2023 Joanne “Jody” Mitchell of Glencoe passed away in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Gord for nearly 50 years. Dear mother of Caralee Mitchell (Will DeWild), Kyle (Erika) Mitchell and Cody (Lindsay) Mitchell. Loving grandmother of Tyson and Braxton Haggith, Adelyn and Mackinley Mitchell, Vaughan and Weston Mitchell, Owen, Ethan, Ally and Ila DeWild. Dear sister of Robert DePelsmaeker (Pam White), Dianne Zemnicky (Peter Kerner), Brenda (Kirk) Dunlop and Brent (Sherri) DePelsmaeker and sister-in-law to Mary Anne Forest. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mariette DePelsmaeker and brother-in-law Stephen Mitchell. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Charles Garnier Church, Glencoe on Wednesday, March 29 at 11a.m. Rev. Christian Amogu celebrant. Inurnment to follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Bothwell. Memorial donations may be made to Four Counties Health Services Foundation or London Regional Cancer Program.
