It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and brother; Jack (John) McLean on Wednesday April 6, 2016, in his 87th year, surrounded by his loved ones at University Hospital, London, Ontario. Jack was born on July 4, 1929 to Florence (Gardiner) and Percival McLean in Pontiac, Michigan and resided in Mosa Twp and Muirirk, ON. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois (Nethercott), brother William McLean, son, Robert (Bob) McLean, daughter, Rosemary Van Gelderen (Dolph). Also by his beloved grandchildren, Micheal Thompson, Genna McLean, Amy Cartmell (Ben), Lindsay McLean, Amelia Van Alstyne, Kylie McLean, Robbie McLean, Evie McLean, Levi Van Gelderen, Jacob Van Gelderen, Adrian Van Gelderen, Austen Van Gelderen, Chloe Van Gelderen. Also by great grandchildren, Melissa Walker, Camryn Wilson, Zach Inskip, Marley Dennis, Morgan Hawco and Baby Cartmell. Relatives and friends will be received at Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Deb Dolbear-VanBilsen officiating. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery.
