At Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, Harry R. Armstrong of Alvinston passed away peacefully in his 91st year. Son of the late Chester and Maggie Armstrong. Loving and devoted husband of Goldie (nee Barrett)(Vosbourgh). Dear father of Marilyn (Mel) Merriam of Newbury. Dear grandfather of Gwen McNaughton (Bob) of Sarnia, Rhonda Sutherland (Scott) of Newbury and Shawn Merriam (Tara) of Chatham. Special great grandfather to Lauren, Cody, Ty, Olivia and Ryan. Predeceased by his brother Neil Armstrong of Alberta. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Visitation Centre, 3232 River Street, Alvinston on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, August 6 at 11a.m. Rev. Jo-Anne Symington officiating. Interment to follow at the Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Guthrie Presbyterian Church, Alvinston.
