At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, Harry Alexander “Hank” Hailstone of R.R. 1 Glencoe passed away in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Audrey (Walker) Hailstone. Dear father of Peter (Christine) Hailstone and grandfather of Savannah. Brother of Caroline Gerrish (Hugh) and brother-in-law of Rosemary Hailstone, Dorothy Walker (late Bill), Norma and Bruce Dolbear, June and Tom McLachlan and Marlene Walker. Predeceased by his infant son David (1971), and his brothers William (2010) (late Alice 2000), James (1989) and Robert (2015). Hank will be missed by his “grand-dog” Jaz. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, April 8, at 11 a.m. Rev. Deb Dolbear-VanBilsen officiating. Cremation with interment at Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society.
