At Sprucedale Care Centre, Strathroy on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, Gloria Darlene Winia passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the age of 73. She spent most of her married life in Newbury. She devoted herself to the Faith Pentecostal Assembly in Glencoe and enjoyed making crafts, cooking delicious recipes and teaching Sunday school, but above all she loved spending time with her family. Survived by her loving and devoted husband Ulba (Elmer) Winia. She will be forever cherished by her children, Julien (Gail), late Mike (Michelle), Ted (Debi), Gloria Van Rychenhem, Tammy (Michael) McDade, Rosie (Mark) Van Rychenhem and Wendy (Tim) McCallum. She was an outstanding grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be dearly missed. Our dear Gloria, wife, mother and grandmother…. although she is gone to Heaven, her memories will live on forever. Visitation at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes St., Glencoe on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
