At Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 with family by her side, Glenda Elinor Shields (née Scharf) of London passed away in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late John A. Shields (2015). Devoted mother of Paul (Pat) Shields and Melanie Shields (Chris Sayler) all of Glencoe. Glenda was the loving Grandy of Jamie Shields (Brandie Elliott), Ben (Jenn) Shields, Samantha Shields, Rebecca Verkin (Kyle Levac) and Danielle Verkin (Todd Hunter). Loved by her great-grandchildren Ainsley, Addilyn and Carter. Also survived by her sister Melanie Hayes. Predeceased by sister, Coral Lindsay (2015). In keeping with Glenda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held with Inurnment at Woodland Cemetery, London. Memorial donations may be made to London Regional Cancer Program (Myeloma Research Fund) or Lung Association.
