Peacefully at University Hospital, London on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, Gerhard Johannes “Gerry” Weber of Newbury passed away in his 90th year. Predeceased by his wife Ursula (2022). Dear father of Matthew (Kathy) and Christine (Paul). Cherished Opa to Jacob (Jacqui), Sam (Natasha) and Josh (Megan). Brother of Joe (Regina), Antje (Peter) and the late Klaus all of Germany. Gerry enjoyed his life in Canada and held many jobs such as baker, cabinet maker and construction but his heart and soul was always farming. He passed this love onto Matthew and Josh who will proudly continue his legacy. He always enjoyed visiting with neighbours and friends to share his latest joke. His family will fondly remember him for his Opa tea, delicious cakes and stories of his past adventures. A Celebration of Life will be held at Glencoe Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 11 a.m. Visitation one hour prior (10-11a.m.) Inurnment to follow at the Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Four Counties Health Services Foundation.
