At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, May 25, 2019, Evelyn Atwell of Seasons, Strathroy and formerly of Newbury passed away in her 81st year. Predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Allan in 2018. Dear mother of Katherine (Tony) Hendrikx and Robert (Shelley) Atwell. Loving grandmother of Shawn (Kendra) Hendrikx, Andrea (Josh) Graves, Aaron (Emily) Hendrikx, Ryan and Allsion Atwell and proud great-grandmother of Viola, Alistair, Evangeline and Oriana. Dear sister of Carmen Johnston (late Gail) and sister-in-law of Wallace (Jeannette) Atwell and Ida (Doug) Tunks. Predeceased by 1 brother James. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Monday evening from 5-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 28 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Bonnie Rayner officiating. Interment to follow at the Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Four Counties Health Services Foundation.
