Peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer, Elwood Anthony “Al” Holt of R.R. 2 Newbury passed away at the age of 71. Loving husband of 53 years to Beverley Holt. Cherished father of Steven, Ron (Melissa), Kathy (Paul), Sandy (Jason). Grandfather to Amanda (Chris), Kristin (Ramy), Matthew (Daryan), Brandi, Jesse (Jessica), Nick, Steven (Amberley), Josie and Emma. Predeceased by Tyler. Great –grandfather to Madison, Dominic, Aubrey, Hayley, Frankie and Justin. Brother to Yvonne (Adriaan) and Goldie. Predeceased by sisters Shirley and Mavis. Special family friend (mother) Ruth Chambers . Also survived by many special nephews and nieces. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 27 at 1:30 p.m. at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe . Visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the March of Dimes or St. Andrew’s United Church, Cairo.
