It is with profound sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Elizabeth on Thursday, September 25, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Robert White. Loving mother of Mary Lynn, Peggy, Joy, Robyn and the late Susan. Devoted grandmother to Henry and great-grandmother to Lilah. Betty was the daughter of the late Rollie and Annie Atkin. Cherished sister of Lois (Cecil) and the late Mona and Marlene. Dear sister-in-law to John (Elaine) and the late Janet, Mary and Annabelle. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes St, Glencoe, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNIB or Christian Children’s Fund of Canada.
