Heaven received another angel on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Elaine Irene Jessome (Barrie), born in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, passed away in her 71st year. Survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Patrick Jessome. Loving mother of Valerie Barrie, Lydia Jessome(Ken) Dale. Much adored and loved by her grandchildren Dwayne Barrie, Natasha Burden, Ronnie Burden, Amber-Lei Lawton, Kimberley Doucette, Tyler Grant, Ken Dale and John Dale. The most thoughtful and playful to her great-grandchildren Chase & Jake Lawton and Owen Campbell. She will be greatly missed by everyone. Elaine was a daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, a sister, an aunt and a godmother. She is predeceased by her mother & father Hannah & George Barrie, brother Howard Barrie, sister Caroline LeBlanc and grandson Cory Lawton. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place.
