Pitel, Doreen Mildred (nee Elliott), formerly of Alvinston, passed away at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Thursday, August 17, 2023 in her 85th year. Born in Euphemia Township, daughter of the late John and Cleda (Spencer) Elliott. Beloved wife of the late Louis Pitel (2003). Dear mother of Liana and Susan (James Loxton). Treasured grandmother of Evan and Aidan Kotilehti. Predeceased by sister Marjorie Pike and brothers Mac Elliott, George Elliott and Jack and Betty Elliott. Survived by sisters in law Luella Elliott, Elaine Pitel, Margaret Bryce and Mary and Wayne Corbett. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Interment St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Alvinston. Memorial Service to be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
