At Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, Donald Harold Glen Cook of Petrolia passed away in his 80th year. Beloved husband of late Donna Jean (Kearns) (1994) and Donna Syer–Cook. Dear father of Glen Cook of Port Stanley and Jill McCormick of New Brunswick and grandfather of Brandyn and Nikki Cook, Strathroy, Dustin Cook and Maelynn McNally, West Lorne, Troy Cook and Melanie Ganhadeiro, Dutton, Robert and Janae McCormick, Wyoming and Susan and James Willis, New Brunswick. Loved by his 3 great grandchildren James and Erin Willis and Quinn Cook. Predeceased by his parents Maurice (1978) and Lavina Dibley (1982), 4 brothers George (1978), Thomas (2008), Neil (2008) Robert (2015) and his sister Lois Hillier (1990). Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 3232 River Street, Alvinston on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, September 15 at 1:30 p.m Rev. Jo-Anne Symington officiating. Interment to follow at the Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to CEE Hospital Foundation, Petrolia.
