After a lengthily illness, Daniel Clare Hodgson of Sarnia (formerly Alvinston) passed peacefully at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Friday, February 12, 2016 in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Kathy (Garner) and proud father of Scott (Claudia Garcia) of Ottawa and April Hodgson of Sarnia. Grandfather of Aidan, Jordan and Bailey. Dan is also survived by his brothers John (Stella) and Duncan (Karen) and their families. Predeceased by his parents Emerson and Claire (Perry) Hodgson.
To honour Dan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Bluewater Health or St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia or CEE Hospital, Petrolia. Arrangements entrusted to Van Heck Funeral Home, Glencoe.
