At Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday, September 1, 2012, Cornelis “Curly” Schieman of R.R. 2 Glencoe in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Gates) Schieman. Dear father of Carol & Dougald Leitch, Susan Schieman and Roger, Jim & Jennifer Schieman and grandfather of Kathy and John, Jacqueline (Nicolas), Peter (Ang) and Paul (Katrina), Tara, Laura, Jamie, Sarah and Emma. Buppa will be missed by his great grandsons, Reid, Lyam, Keenan, Elyjah and Wyatt. Dear brother of Dan (Betty) Schieman and Johanna Cummins and brother-in-law of Eva (Phil) Walters, Jane Schieman, George (Gayle) Gates and late Jean (Ray) Mullins. Predeceased by his parents, James and Dinny (dePutter) Schieman, brothers Peter and Martin and granddaughter Hanna. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes St., Glencoe on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 5 at 1:30 pm Rev. Charlotte Brown officiating. Interment to follow at the Kilmartin Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Burns Presbyterian Church (Mosa).
