At University Hospital, London, on Saturday, December 16, 2017, Clifford James Bender Sr. of Glencoe passed away in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Jeri. Dear father of Susan Sharman (Steve) and the late Clifford Jr. (1990). Proud grandfather of Todd, Steven, Kendra and the late Sarah Van Bilsen. Brother of Kenneth Bender (Debbie), Kathy Green and Doris Bender (Dave Watson) and brother-in-law of Bill and Don McLaughlin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 19th at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at the Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association.
