Suddenly at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday, April 29, 2017, Robert Hugh “Bob” McEachren of R.R. 4 Glencoe passed away in his 73rd year. Son of the late Hugh and Pearl McEachren. Dear father of Christopher and Michael (Melanie). Proud grandfather of Robbie and Emmett. Brother of Carole Mulroy (Jim) and the late Sandra Haist (Murray). Bob retired from teaching nearly 25 years ago and then pursued his passion for farming. He was an avid sports fan and involved in his community over the years. Many friends will miss him. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes street, Glencoe on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 3rd at 11 a.m. Rev. Deb Dolbear –VanBilsen officiating. Interment to follow at the Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Southwest Minor Hockey Association.
