Suddenly on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, William Arthur “Bill” Swan of Inwood passed away in his 57th year. Beloved husband of Connie (White) Swan. Dear father of Adam (Shelley) Swan, Richelle (Travis) Duncan, Brady Swan and Julia Swan and papa of Asher and Jack Swan, Hayden, Brogan, Reyna, Colby and Alexis Duncan. Dear son of Nancy (Doug) Coleman and the late Cap Swan. Brother of Nancy Sue (Mike) Thomson, John (Cathy) Swan, Scott (Jenn) Swan and Marty (Mary-Anne) Swan and brother-in-law of Brenda (Alan) Fuller, Ann McIntosh, Marilyn (Richard) Graham and the late Charles White. Bill is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his in-laws Wayne and June White. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 3232 River Street, Alvinston on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Brooke Alvinston Inwood Community Centre Complex on Saturday, May 20th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the “Raise the Roost Campaign” (cheques payable to the Municipality of Brooke-Alvinston).
