Mona Nichols-Nephin

Peacefully with her loving family at her side at Parkwood Hospital, London on Friday September 28, 2012, Mona Louise Nichols-Nephin of West Lorne and formerly of Glencoe passed away.  Much loved wife of Stanley Nephin and mother of Lori & Brian Watson, Cindy & Gary Burt, Jeff Nichols, Ruth & John LaBarbera, Lisa & Craig Smith, Richard & Barb Makeron-Nichols and stepmother of Stanley Nephin.  Predeceased by husband Ken Nichols and grandson Andrew Burt. Adored grandmother and great grandmother to Naomi & Dave Moore (Madigan, Cali & Max), Leanne Burt, Ryan &Charmaine Watson (Braiden & Paige), Kyle Watson & Bryden Stubs (Madison & Sawyer), Travis Hubley (Emma), Tyler Hubley (Katie), Kendra Talbot, Lydia, Grace, Anthony and Nicholas LaBarbera, Inez, Cameron, Devin and Jessie Smith, Joshua and Julia Nichols and Owen Nephin.  Mona will be dearly missed by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty White, Lois & Cec Wilson, Marlene & Bob Robelle and the Nephin family; Iris & Stan, Harlan & Deb, Glenda & Donald and Willy and her mother-in-law Florence Brunette. She will be forever remembered by her many nieces and nephews and cherished friends.  Visitation will be at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes St., Glencoe on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held at Grace Anglican Church, West Lorne on Tuesday October 2, 2012 at 10 a.m.  Interment Oakland Cemetery, Glencoe.  Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or Grace Anglican Church.  The final song has been sung and the last piano recital completed and yet there’s always so much more…we said or final good-byes and I love you…and yet there’s always so much more.  Until we meet again with love in our hearts and tears in our eyes…you will be so deeply missed Mom.
