Peacefully on Friday, July 27, 2012, surrounded by family at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury, Mom went home to be with the Lord and the love of her life, John Axford Jeffery (1987) in her 92nd year. She is survived by her children; Jack and JoAnn Jeffery, Appin, Ann and Mac Lilley, Dutton, Murry and Marylee Jeffery, Appin, Warren & Gale Jeffery, Glencoe and Tom Jeffery, Appin. Also remembered and loved by her 29 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by one sister, Jean Huston of London and sister-in-law Rita Kellestine of Melbourne, daughter-in-law Anne Vereyken and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son George (1993) and daughter-in-law Mary (2003) and siblings; Harold, Floyd, Basil, Warren and Jim Kellestine, Ada Leduc, Nora Dolbear, Alice Philips, Alma Jeffery, Fay Smith and Eileen Cudney. Besides her love of family and friends, gardening and cooking, Mom was an active member of Guthrie Presbyterian Church, Melbourne and Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Melbourne. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes St., Glencoe on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and for the hour prior to the celebration of life service to be held at 2:00p.m. on Wednesday, August 1. Rev. Amanda MacMillan officiating. Interment to follow at the Longwood Cemetery. Mom loved flowers, but memorial donations may be made to the Guthrie Presbyterian Church – Melbourne or Four Counties Health Services Foundation in her memory.
