At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Thursday, November29, 2018, Nellie Van Bilsen (nee Beenackers) formerly of Glencoe passed away in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Martin (1994). Survived by her children Henry (Donna Jean) Van Bilsen and Mary Anne (Bill) Zwambag and her 5 grandchildren, Nicholas (Tanya) Zwambag, Andrew (Katharine) Zwambag, Sean (Becky) Van Bilsen, Matthew (Kali) Zwambag and Charlene (Ben) Hillen and her 13 great-grandchildren Carson, Lucas, Owen, Zachary, Ryan, Jessica, Jacob, Lexi and Cooper Zwambag, Tate and Jed Van Bilsen, Kylie and Tess Hillen. Also survived by special niece Anja (Gerald) Zwambag and “grandmother” to Derek (Jacqueline), Brendan (Jenna) and Jenna (Travis). Nellie was the second of 12 children. 3 brothers and 2 sisters survive her in Holland and 4 brothers and 1 sister predeceased her. Visitation at Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes St., Glencoe on Sunday evening from 6-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Garnier Church, 244 Stella St, Glencoe on Monday, December 3 at 10 a.m. Rev. Thomas Blondin celebrant. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, West Lorne. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers to Ontario 4H Endowment Fund (Middlesex).
