Suddenly at Bluewater Health CEE site, Petrolia on Monday, May 14, 2012, Garth Duncan Henderson of Alvinston in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Jean (Armstrong) Henderson. Dear father of Michael of Cornwall and the late Rodney (1982). Loving grandfather of Niki, Brittany and Alex and great grandfather of Ava. Predeceased by his parents, George and Hazel Henderson and his sister Joan (Ernie) Firman. Garth served as a Sergeant in the Royal Canadian Air Force and was a proud Life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 249, Alvinston. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Visitation Centre. 3232 River Street, Alvinston on Wednesday from 2-4& 7-9 pm. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 11 am, Rev. Jo-Anne Symington officiating. Interment to follow at the Alvinston Cemetery.
