On Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury, after a courageous battle with cancer, heaven received a special angel. Achille “Archie” aka Papa of Glencoe in his 85th year. Beloved husband and best friend to Marion (Beaucage) Maclure. Loving father to Michille and Jeff Kelly of Glencoe, John Handforth of Stratford and Betty and Larry Wade of Harriston. Amazing Papa to Michael, Matthew, Jacob and Makenna Kelly of Glencoe, Jenny Handforth of Stratford, Jennifer and Hans Roubos of Drayton, Cheryl Wade, Krista Wade (Tyler Crumbie) of Harriston, Stephanie and Sam Gerrie of Drayton. Great grandfather of Culis and twin babies to be born next month. Archie was an outstanding man, friend, son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. This isn’t good bye, but a farewell. Forever in our hearts xoxoxox. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes St., Glencoe on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday , January 14 at 1:00p.m. Rev. Deb Dolbear-VanBilsen officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
