It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Steven Michael Pustay who died on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Oneida Long Term Care Facility. He was in his 91st year. He was the loving son of Peter and Anna Pustay and the beloved husband of the late Helen (2015). Greatly loved and respected by his children Ann and Bill Edwards of Glencoe, Ed and Julie Pustay of Mt. Brydges and Cindy and Fred Staels of Newbury. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Ryan (Jen) Edwards of Toronto, Kelly (Richard) Galbraith of Appin, Brendan (Shannon) Edwards of London, Sarah (Jared) of Strathroy, Haley (Nick) Pustay of Mt. Brydges, Nathan (Brittany) of Blenheim, Justin (Megan) and Jordan (Ashley) Staels of Newbury. He was a special Great-grandfather to Charlotte and Sophie Edwards and Ryerson and Kennedy Galbraith, Nora Staels and Danika and Brooklyn Grace. Dear brother of Mary Janicek of Oil Springs and Peter (Joyce) of Kanata. Steve was a quiet, humble man who worked hard to support his family by farming and working for CP Rail for many years. In his later years he enjoyed golfing with his friends and meeting them at the coffee shop. Visitation will be held at Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Friday, February 2nd from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Charles Garnier Church, 244 Stella St. Glencoe on Saturday, February 3rd at 11am., with Fr. William Capitano officiating. Interment at North American Martyrs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Parkinson Canada or to the Oneida Long Term Care Facility.
