At CEE Site of Bluewater Health, Petrolia on Sunday, October 15, 2017, Adolph “Ed” Ikert of Petrolia passed away in his 97th year. Predeceased by his wife Josephine (Gardner) (2002). Dear father of Alvin (Elaine) Ikert of Petrolia, Ruth (Robert) Hussey of Kelowna BC, and Brenda (Michael) MacIntyre of Petrolia and grandfather of Chad (Lynda) of Sarnia, Amy (Bob) of North Carolina, Erin of Kelowna, late Shane, Jordan (Laura) of Kelowna and Nathan of Petrolia. Great-grandfather of Adam, Owen, Evan, Luke, Ava, Noah, Josiah, Ethan, Finn, Knox and River. Also survived his sister Lydia and brothers Carl, Walter and Paul. A private family service will be held at the Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the CEE Hospital Foundation (Continuing Care) or New Life Assembly Petrolia.
