Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday, May 8, 2016, Kathleen A. “Kay” Prince formerly of Alvinston, passed away at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Ralph “Tiny” Prince (2013). Dear mother of Joyce Walter (Jim) and Karen Neill (Terry). Loving grandmother of Jamie Walter-Ciccarelli (Andres), Julie Walter-Read (Rob), Martha Trepanier (Justin) and Jonathan Neill (Maureen Cooper). Proud great grandmother of Ashwin, Oren, and Aravyn Read, Addison, Jillian and Meredith Trepanier. Dear sister of Ray Core (Bonnie), Walter Core (Cathy), Ruby Rankin (Maurice), Shirley Hope (Don), the late John Core (Ruth Pratt) and the late Augusta Watt. Kay was a long time employee of the Bank of Montreal, Alvinston. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 3232 River Street, Alvinston on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 11th at 11a.m. Rev. Jim Breen officiating. Interment to follow at the Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation or charity of your choice.
