The Family of Elaine “Toots” Rodgers of Cambridge, formerly of London, is saddened to announce her passing on February 06, 2025, at the age of 86 years. She passed peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Elaine will be dearly missed by daughters Stacey and Jacki, her son-in-law Gerard, and her grandchildren Rachel, Wyatt, and Emma, as well as by her brothers and sisters. A lover of animals, Elaine will also be missed by the Family’s pets: Molly, Dougal, and Francis. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years “Herbie”, and her parents Grace Tanner and Thomas Boyce. Elaine, along with her husband Herb, were dedicated members of the North American drag racing community, with his alcohol funny car “Flying Glass”. Together with her husband, Elaine was also a passionate fan of The London Knights, billeting players from the team for years. A Celebration of Life for Elaine will take place in the spring at Van Heck Funeral Home, Glencoe followed by an interment at Longwoods Cemetery.
