At Beattie Haven Retirement Community, Wardsville on Saturday, July 19, 2014, Mary Frances (Miller) Gerber of Glencoe passed away peacefully at the age of 100 years. Beloved wife of the late Carl Gerber (2009). Beloved mother of Elizabeth Emrich (late Zig) of Chatham, Garry Gerber (Brenda) of Toronto, Dianne Root (Larry) of London, Eleanor Brooks (Tom) of Kitchener, Marilyn Crawford (Don) of Glencoe, Maureen Gerber (Jim Masterson) of Chatham, Tom Gerber (Geri Rivard) of London, Bruce Gerber (Sheila), David Gerber (Barbara) all of Glencoe and Barb Hardy (Allan) of Melbourne. Loved by her 23 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Carol Anne, grandsons, Jeffery Brooks and Kyle Gerber and great granddaughter Claire Lamb and Mary was the last of her generation of the Miller family. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes St., Glencoe on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Garnier Church, 244 Stella Ave., Glencoe on Wednesday, July 23 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. D. Matthew Bedard officiating. Interment to follow at the North American Martyrs Cemetery, Wardsville. Memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Church (Building Fund), St. Vincent de Paul, Glencoe or Beattie Haven Retirement Community.
