At his home in Brooke Twp., on Saturday, December 30th, 2017, Wayne Alexander McLachlin passed away in his 64th year. Beloved husband of 41 years to Nancy (Colhoun). Dear father of Jeffery and his wife Melissa McLachlin. Loving papa to Alexis and Ryan. Dear brother of Clare and Donna, Alec and Patti and Ruth Anne and Don Cox and brother-in-law of Jeanie and Ed McDonald. Wayne will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Son of the late Lorne and Isabel McLachlin. Wayne was a community man who had a passion for farming and known for his carpentry work. He drove school bus for 35 years respected by many students. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 3232 River Street, Alvinston where the Memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 4 at 11 a.m. Rev. Jo-Anne Symington officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Brooke Fire Rescue (cheques payable to the Municipality of Brooke/Alvinston) or Alvinston Food Bank (cheques payable to Municipality of Brooke/Alvinston).
