Peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Monday, January 1, 2018 with his family present, Dougald Archie Leitch of R. R 6 Alvinston passed away in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Carol (Schieman). Dear father of Kathy Leitch (Jeff Tidball) and John Leitch (Janelle Shamblaw). “Doog” to Tristan, Chloe and Chase. Son-in-law of Marjorie and the late Curly Schieman and brother-in-law to Susan Schieman (Roger) and Jim (Jennifer) Schieman. Dougald will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Son of the late Archie and Alma (Dill) Leitch. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11a.m. Private interment to follow at the Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Four Counties Health Services (Palliative Care Unit).
